These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Drug Discovery and Biotech (the “Site”), located at drugdiscoveryandbiotech.com, operated by Filip Yabukarski (“I,” “me,” “my”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1) Who these Terms apply to

“You” means any person or entity accessing or using the Site.

2) Educational / informational content only (no advice)

All content on the Site is provided for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing on the Site constitutes or should be interpreted as:

  • investment advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any security,

  • medical, clinical, regulatory, legal, tax, or professional advice, or

  • an offer, solicitation, or endorsement.

You are solely responsible for any decisions you make based on Site content. You should consult qualified professionals for advice tailored to your situation.

3) Personal views; no employer affiliation; no confidential information

The Site is a personal project. The views expressed are my own and do not represent those of any current or past employer or organization. The Site does not contain confidential, proprietary, or non-public information. Content is based on publicly available information and my personal analysis and opinions.

4) Content accuracy and updates

I strive for accuracy, but content may be incomplete, outdated, or contain errors. I may update, correct, or remove content at any time without notice, and I am not obligated to update any content.

5) Intellectual property and permitted use

Unless otherwise stated, the Site and its original content (including text, graphics, and design) are owned by me and protected by intellectual property laws.

  • view the Site for personal, noncommercial use, and

  • share links to Site pages, and

  • quote short excerpts with attribution and a link back to the relevant page.

  • copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works from substantial portions of the Site,

  • scrape, harvest, or systematically download content (manually or automatically),

  • use the Site’s content to train or improve machine learning models, datasets, or similar systems, except to the extent permitted by law, or

  • use my name or likeness in a way that suggests endorsement.

6) Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • attempt unauthorized access to the Site or its systems,

  • interfere with the Site’s operation (e.g., malware, denial-of-service, automated flooding),

  • scrape or crawl the Site at scale or using automated means without permission,

  • submit unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or infringing content via the contact form, or

  • violate any applicable laws or regulations while using the Site.

7) User submissions (contact form and messages)

If you submit information through the contact form or otherwise communicate with me:

  • you represent that you have the right to share it and that it does not contain confidential or proprietary information of a third party;

  • you agree not to submit sensitive personal data (e.g., SSNs, medical records) through the Site;

  • you understand I may retain and use your message to respond and maintain records, as described in the Privacy Policy.

8) Third-party links and third-party services

The Site may include links to third-party websites or services (including embedded content). I do not control and am not responsible for third-party content, practices, availability, or policies. Your use of third-party sites is at your own risk and subject to their terms and privacy policies.

9) Disclaimers

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, I DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

10) Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, I WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SITE OR CONTENT, EVEN IF I HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MY TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SITE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED USD $100.

(Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in that case, limitations apply to the maximum extent permitted.)

11) Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold me harmless from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from or related to:

  • your use of the Site,

  • your violation of these Terms, or

  • your violation of any rights of another person or entity.

12) Advertising, affiliate links, and sponsorships (future-proof)

I do not currently publish paid promotions unless clearly stated. If I add advertising, affiliate links, or sponsorships, I will disclose them in an appropriate and transparent manner. Any third-party products or services are provided by their respective owners, and you use them at your own risk.

13) Changes to these Terms

I may modify these Terms at any time by posting an updated version on the Site and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Site after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14) Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

15) Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

16) Entire agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any posted Disclaimer, form the entire agreement between you and me regarding your use of the Site.
